Dalailama intown today

Today, on Sep 20th 2005, Dalailama is delivering a lecture at UT, Austin. I wanted to go see him - not because he is a religious head, but because I think he is cool. Even though, he has changed much according to what Indian politics has dominoed, he represents the wishes of millions of Tibetans who wish to live in peace and according to their will. Today's secularists of India has traded and insulted all of them to curry favor with China - just so that Chinese govt would admit that Sikkim is part of India (wonder why Arunachal Pradesh still shows in chinese map). How about this, you keep Sikkim and get out of Tibet!

Well, even if you manage to read this post before 4 PM today, you wont be able to attend Lama's speech - because a total of 3200 tickets were distributed to public in less than 18 minutes - thats Austin for ya. I think its cool to be with Austinites who are carving an image and identity for themselves amongst otherwise redneck Tejas. Holler 'em up.
